Nelson Rocha: Bringing Latin American Investment to the United States
The Santander-born entrepreneur has specialized in building and selling homes on Florida’s South Coast.
We spoke with one of the leading figures behind Rocha Brothers, a company founded by two Colombian brothers that has managed to expand beyond borders through innovation and a unique business model. Their goal: channel Latin American investment into the U.S. real estate market, particularly in Florida.
Clients from Across Latin America
“Most of our clients are Colombian,” explains Nelson Rocha, “but we also have investors from Argentina, Mexico, Peru, and even the United States. We started with a small group of investors, and word of mouth allowed us to grow. With our business model, every investor can track and follow their investment step by step.”
He adds that the company offers a complete investment experience — from purchasing the land to developing and selling (or renting) the property. “We’ve built a scalable model that runs between 18 and 36 months. Based on that, we analyze profitability and make adjustments along the way.”

Golf, as Nelson explains, has become a bridge between business and relationships. “Golf connects us to our roots in Colombia and Bucaramanga — our hometown — which means a lot to us. Through events like the PGA Tour Americas, we’ve met people interested in our work, and that has helped position Rocha Brothers in people’s minds.”
